…and that’s it! That’s the end of the Shadows of Dooooom! Everything’s pretty much wrapped up. How did you enjoy it?

Thank you! It was geat. I love the long stories, hope you have others brewing. I am looking forward to going back and reading the story over, without waiting a week for the next episode.

I love it when people have costumes under other costumes.. nevermind issues of comfort, mobility, or -possibility- of having something under another costume that clearly showed skin where that costume covers.. it’s so funny we ALLOW IT..
And then the Rockets gang blasts off agaiiiin ;0
*ping*

Love the continuity of the grass-eating-a-sandwich logo.

so … awesome …

Let’s see: you linked the two plotlines, made a callback to Roger’s alphabet insults, gave Christi more of her signature word usage, gave us a heartwarming hug, the classic costume-under-costume visual gag, schadenfreude with the King — yep, this is a grand finale.

I really enjoyed Shadows of DOOOOOM! I’ll be looking forward to more wackiness on the Daughter-of-Monarch World.

Nice.
I think long stories are good for those who are reading through the archives. Not as good for those who are reading in serial form… I forget the details of the plot from one episode to the next.

Thanks for the kind words everyone!
Lars, did you feel like forgeting the plot took away from the gags?

Not usually. It sometimes took away from understanding the story line of each new episode, but usually if I backed up a couple of strips, I recovered enough of what was going on to follow the next installment.
I do like story lines, probably medium ones best.

How did Roger hide those ears under the crown?… Silly unanswerable questions…

I think the other costumes spend the time until they are needed. Sort of like a comically oversized hammer carried by a cartoon character.
