Treasure Pieland was a title I suggested for my day job of writing comics for Owl Magazine. You should consider ordering a subscription to Owl for any kids on your shopping list. It’s good wholeseome fun. Anyway, when I write for them I usually provide a bunch of punchlines and jokes for them to choose from, and I think Treasure Pieland was too dated a reference for them. They went with a Harry Potter joke instead, which is cool, because I got to use TP here with TPP. They also turned down one of my other aged favourites, The Count of Monte Disco. 🙂
