I specifically used this skeleton character (you’ll find out his name next week) as a flag presenter in the weeks leading up to the Epic Sail story line. Having a buffer allows me to do that kind of thing. Woot! Also, the spider joke came from someone telling me about how to scare dogs and then me seeing a spider in the bathroom a few hours later. They say you do a lot of your best thinking in a bathroom because you’re not focused on anything. Your mind is free to wander. I guess that means this week’s strip is potty humour?
