I liked that the saga started with her dad dealing with things from a managerial standpoint and then we transfer into seeing Christi take on the problem with her own two hands. That is kind of the difference between where they’re at in the their lives and why I keep going back and forth between the two throughout the strip’s run. The King is all about the idiots who surround you at work or school and you can’t escape and have to find a way to deal with. Christi is about the obstacle course of people you encounter when you go out of your shell and into the big wide world. To me, they seem like very different situations, both ripe for jokes and sympathy.
